Anesthesiology Residency Application Information

The Department of Anesthesiology Residency Training Program only accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). The deadline to submit an application for the upcoming academic year is Oct. 15.

The residency program has PGY-1 positions that are approved annually by the Graduate Medical Education Office. The program is categorical, which includes one internship year and three years of clinical anesthesia training.

PGY-2/CA-1 applicants are welcome to apply through ERAS. We offer two advanced positions.

Interview process

Interviews generally occur from October through January. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made some adjustments in our interview process which will allow for all resident interviews to be conducted virtually. The interview day will start with a welcome and overview of our program from the program director, followed by individual interviews with key faculty, including the departmental chair and program director. The interview day will conclude with a presentation from some of our current residents.
